David was raised in Brewster where his mother’s family has roots back to the Mayflower. After graduating from Duke University with a BA in Political Science, he entered the property management and development field in Boston where he has worked in the residential property management field for over 30 years. During that time he was responsible for the condominium management divisions of two prominent firms in the Boston market. In addition to overall responsibility for all management staff and operations, he enjoyed implementing and managing large capital projects on behalf of clients. Sixteen years ago, he and his wife moved back to Orleans to a new home to welcome their daughter as well as to start his wife’s new business while he commuted to Boston. After 16 years of driving to Boston, he is very pleased to come full circle by returning to his roots and joining the CDP.
Their daughter is a sophomore at Nauset Regional and his wife’s boutique business is going strong. David served on the Orleans School Committee for several years, and indulged his passion for the environment by serving on the Orleans Renewable Energy Committee as well. He loves to sail and enjoys the challenge of competing in local triathlons.
