Paul Ruchinskas recently retired after spending 25 years working on affordable housing and community development issues as the director of community-based non-profits in Falmouth, Worcester, and New Haven, CT and more recently as the Affordable Housing Specialist at the Cape Cod Commission. Paul’s first career was as a high school social studies teacher, including 3 years at Cape Cod Tech when it first opened. Paul graduated from Brown with a BA in European History and later received a Masters in Public and Private Management from Yale.
Paul and his wife Loretta have lived in Brewster since 2003 and feel very fortunate to be living in this special place. Paul is the chair of the Brewster Community Preservation Committee and serves on the Board of Directors of the Housing Assistance Corporation and the Frederick Court Development Corporation. In addition to his volunteer activities, Paul belongs to a senior softball league and enjoys hiking and bicycling.
