Liza Cox is a partner in the Real Estate and Finance Department and a member of the Land Use practice group at Nutter, Mc Clennen & Fish. Based out of both the firm’s Hyannis and Boston offices, she concentrates her practice on land use and zoning law. Liza represents individual homeowners, non-profit organizations, private corporations and national developers before local zoning and planning boards, conservation commissions, and other municipal boards and commissions. She has extensive experience before the Cape Cod Commission.
Liza was named an “Up & Coming Lawyer” in 2010 by Massachusetts Lawyers Weekly and the Massachusetts Bar Association a 2013 Massachusetts Super Lawyer Rising Star. She also received the 2009 Public Service Award from the Yarmouth Area Chamber of Commerce. An active member of the Cape community, Eliza serves on the board of trustees of the YMCA of Cape Cod, the Ocean Side Performing Arts Center, and the Cape Cod Economic Development Council, Inc. A native of North Carolina, Liza is resident of Wellfleet, along with her partner Philippe Rispoli (Chef/owner of PB Boulangerie Bistro) and their daughter Chloe.
