Elizabeth (Beth) Hardy Wade is a Cape Cod Native whose lineage includes a Chatham commercial fisherman, Lighthouse Keeper, and Schooner Captain. A graduate of Cape Cod Community College and Emmanuel College, she is the Land Acquisition & Permitting Manager for Habitat for Humanity of Cape Cod . Beth also holds Real Estate Broker Licenses in Maine and Massachusetts.
A passionate advocate for the twinned needs of Affordable Housing and Economic Development, Beth has taken an active role with a number of local non-profit organizations, including Friends of Chatham Affordable Housing, the Chatham Chamber of Commerce and the CDP. She also has a special interest in local and sustainable food systems and farming, spurred on by her work with Maine Farmland Trust. When not working, Beth enjoys spending time with her husband, Tim, gardening, beekeeping, and as time allows family vacations at their camp in Maine.
