Amy Costa grew up in rural Connecticut. Her family spent a few weeks camping at North of Highland Camping Area in Truro every summer, until her senior year of high school, when they decided to rent their campsite for the season. She and her sister, Joanna, spent the next four summers camping in the woods and working in Provincetown. Time off was spent at Head of the Meadow beach.
When she graduated from Roger Williams University in 2007, she decided to spend one more summer by the sea and never left! After holding long term positions in retail and front of house restaurant work, she joined Seamen’s Bank in 2013. She is now a Mortgage Originator and enjoys working with clients to achieve the dream of home ownership.
Amy married her husband, Will, in 2015 and began making kombucha—a fermented tea based beverage believed to have significant health benefits. In 2016, she and Molly Costa (no relation) founded Cape Cod Kombucha. Amy and Molly have been clients of the CDP’s Business & Credit Programs and received a micro-loan to expand their business in 2017. When not processing mortgages or bottling kombucha, Amy loves to spend time at Head of the Meadow or Great Hollow Beach.
