Judith Valverde grew up in Boston and entered the military at the age of 19. She was stationed in Japan and then England, where she met her spouse. As a military spouse she lived in New Mexico, Texas, New Hampshire, and a short stint in California. Their longest tour was in New Hampshire were she worked as a Real Estate Agent and eventually moved on to become a licensed real estate appraiser. Judy moved to Cape Cod in 1991 when her spouse retired, largely to assist her parents who had long since retired to their home in Brewster. Before working for the CDP she spent two years at the Housing Assistance Corporation as their Accounts Payable Accountant.
Judy joined the CDP as Fiscal & Operations Director in 1996 and is responsible for the management and maintenance of the CDP’s administrative and financial functions. She serves as the first point of contact in the Executive Director’s absence as well as the best source of institutional memory. Judy supervises the Fiscal Manager, Records Manager, Office and Administrative Coordinator, and the Business and Homeownership Program Manager.
