2010 Annual CDP Meeting

We are Seeking Nominations for 6th Annual Gwen Pelletier Award!

The Community Development Partnership (CDP) is seeking nominations from the community for the 6th Annual Gwen Pelletier Award for Excellence in Community Service to the Lower Cape Cod Community. This award will be presented at the CDP’s Fall Annual Meeting.

The award was created to honor Gwen Pelletier for her years of service to the Lower Cape Community. It recognizes individuals, businesses or organizations for their involvement and support to the economic diversity of the Lower Cape. We are looking for local individuals or businesses that have:

� Demonstrated a positive effect on the community or population
� Contributed to a program that improves the livability of the local community.
� Demonstrated goodwill built by developing collaborative efforts with local communities and partnerships with other organizations.
� Demonstrated thoroughness in program/project planning & implementation

Past Recipients of the Gwen Pelletier Award:

2009 – Presented to Mary Lou Petitt, who helped create the CDP and served on the Board for 18 years. She continues her work on the Housing Committee.

2008 – Presented to Christine Austin, Program Director, Homeless Prevention Council

2007 – Presented to Ted Malone, President, Community Housing Resource, Inc.

2006 – Presented to David Willard, Vice President, Cape Cod Five Cents Savings Bank.

2005 – The award was established and presented to Gwen Pelletier.
