Highland Affordable Housing is now taking Lottery applications for its First Discovery rental units.

First Discover is a duplex with one 2 bedroom unit and 1 one bedroom apartment. The 1 bedroom unit is reserved for elders (55+) and is fully accessible. Rents are $1151 + utilities for 2 bedroom and $732 + utilities for 1 bedroom. To qualify you must meet income guidelines shown in the attached application.

Waitlists are being kept and updated for one, two and three bedroom units at our Wellfleet Apartments Project only. If you have applied in the past and wish to change your mailing address, phone number or any other pertinent information, you must submit in writing this change to our office:

Income Guidelines
Rents are established using HOME guidelines which are trageted to families earning 60% of the Area Median Income. Your total household income must be at or below the following incomes: Maximum Income by household size: 1-person $32,580 2-person $37,260 3-person $41,880 4-person $46,560

Total household income includes earned and unearned income received by all members of your household who are 18 and older. The application process and criteria will include a personal interview, credit check, criminal history check, landlord references and ability to pay rent.
