Gifts of Stock

If you are interested in donating stock or another form of security to the Community Development Partnership, please contact your broker and request that shares be transferred into the our brokerage account with Cape Cod Five Investments.

Your broker will need the following transfer information:

Pershing LLC DTC Number – 0443 Lower Cape Cod Community Development Corporation Account Number – 5DQ820554

If you are donating a certificate in your name(s), you will need to contact our broker, Wayne A. LoPresto, or his assistant, Lynn Doscher, at 1-800-678-1855 in order to sign the transfer agent’s letter of instruction stating that you would like to donate this specific stock into our account, along with a stock power transfer.

The transaction date, for gift verification purposes, is the date when Cape Cod Five receives both the stock certificate(s) and an executed stock power transfer.

Whichever method of transfer you choose, we recommend that the market value be determined in cooperation with your tax preparer for income tax purposes.
